Hard to believe it is November! Yesterday it was just the end of the summer and the smoldering heat of August…Fall is here and finally the colors of the changing leaves bursting into the day are spectacular. Vibrant leaves fluttered in the street and on lawns as I walked in our neighborhood yesterday, scattered about lawns and streets, welcoming November.

I love this time of year, filled with hot chocolate and mulled cider, crackling fires, and the smell of pinecones and winter settling in for the holidays. And our family re-connecting as the kids filter in from their various schools and locations around the country.
